Still Plugging away at this build . I have the neck fitted and am about to bind the fret board . However , In my infinite Doofus'ry I didnt buy enough Pink Ivory . Does anyone remember who I purchased from . [headinwall]

Ahh Well , I am going to need (1) Piece to finish the guitar

I need enough to wrap the sound hole end of the fretboard and bind the headstock so really not much
as you can see from the pics its pretty plain pink ivory

I have notched the end of the fret board and am using the upper bout sound hole binding jig to get the binding done for the fret board end . Turns out I have enough to do the fret board , I am just short enough material too bind the head stock . idunno

yes , when I had shaped the fret board I realized if I bent the end pieces first right at the end of my strips I would have just enough . [:Y:]

So all I have to do now is the head stock . Its still gonna take two Pieces at least 15" long .

I have an Ebony Fret Board ready for this build , But before I go any further I am Kicking around the idea of going with CocoBolo Fret Board . Thoughts ?

I think the ebony would probably be better visually. But hey I am not known for designing aesthetically. You should see the way I dress! Haha jeans and black shirt because anytime I wear anything else I'm informed it doesn't match. :)

Wud, visually a nice piece of cocobolo for a fret board could be stunning. Also, it would better match the body. It's a nice hard wood and should stand up pretty well too.
